The NERC has been in existence for over five decades as one of the Six Regional Chapters
established by the League. From 2006 to 2016 we grew in operations until we were able to
continue to promote the work of the League and the Credit Unions Movement with admiration. The NERC wishes to pay tribute to all past Boards of Directors, Presidents and Committees for bringing the Chapter to this stage.
In 2014 it hosted the first opening ceremony of Credit Union Month in October with an
attendance of over 1,000 credit unionists. This was a significant milestone as it was the first
Chapter up to that time that had a total attendance for this event in the 1,000 mark. The NERC hosted its second opening ceremony of Credit Union Month in October 2019, and again it was a well-attended event.”
All Six Chapters have the same objectives.
The Chapter Rules are currently being revised and will be included at a later date when these revisions are completed and approved.
